TeamPlay

These rules should reduce some of the problems in Multiplayergames.

Be aware of some "noobs" they think they are "pros" .

  • STANDARD rules are for Newbees and campers cause then there is no defense possibility and they need+have less protection for their towns. This means the game's tactic is reduced to simple attacks.
  • PROFESSIONAL rules have much more tactics and they require a good knowledge of the game.
    • example : leaving your town unprotected can be a problem if a ram is attacking.

Listen, all these rules are invented for having a fair game play . If you play together in a team with a newbee and have no abilities to defend yourself, you shouldn't start the game with STANDARD rules, cause your team (professional+newbee) will loose the game anyway.

Be sure : all players in the hosted game have to know the applied Rule Set before the game starts.

At last : None of these rules should restrict your abilities for gameplay, so use the right one for your gameplay.

Expect : to play Machine doesn't guarantee you a win and is never easy to manage, cause they are slow and can kill yours , your allies and the opponent troops all at once, but it enhances the tactical gameplay .

STANDARD Rules

  1. Infantry max 2 Troops on Map / Slaves max 4 Troops on Map
  2. * Illusion / phantoms as many as you wish
  3. Pike / Spearmen max 2 Troops on Map / Guards max 4 Troops on Map
  4. * Illusion / phantoms as many as you wish
  5. Defense
    • NO TOWER
  6. Siege Weapons
    • NO Ballista.
    • NO Catapult.
    • NO Rams.
  7. ANY BUG / CHEAT NOT ALLOWED

PROFESSIONAL Rules

  1. Troops
    • Infantry max 2 Troops on Map / Slaves max 4 Troops on Map
      • Illusion / phantoms as many as you wish
    • Pike / Spearmen max 2 Troops on Map / Guards max 4 Troops on Map
      • Illusion / phantoms as many as you wish
  2. Defense
    • 1 TOWER
  3. Siege Weapons
    • Ballista max 2 on map
    • Catapult max 2 on map
    • Rams no limit
  4. ANY BUG / CHEAT NOT ALLOWED

Reasons for Rules

  • why max 2 troops limitation at STANDARD rules : you will see , exercising only lower troops gives an advantage at start of game . This never makes a fair play in team games.
  • why no siege weapon in STANDARD rules : if you are a newbee and don't know how to use siege weapons you will kill yourself and your team player instead of killing the opponent . This may not be really fun. Even though it's called friendly fires. :-)
  • why no TOWER in STANDARD rules : otherwise there would be hundreds of towers. And then it would start to be a camper (resting) game.
  • why max 2 of each siege weapon with PROFESSIONAL Rules : 3 or more of a kind will kill a hole bulk of troops in only 1 shot , useless to explain that this is crap in team play.
